Ashley & Jake

Where to begin with Ashley and Jake’s wedding day! The day began at The Reserve Ballroom in Downtown Neenah where Ashley and her girls were getting ready in the bridal suit and the guys doing the same downstairs. Sounds of Pandora music and laughter filled the bridal suit as the girls helped Ashley get into her wedding dress for her big day. They made sure the song playing while she was getting into her dress was something fun and upbeat, they zipped her up, tied the bow, slipped her shoes on and she was ready to go! Waiting at the top of the stairs for his soon to be bride, Jake patiently waited for the first look. He couldn’t help but smile and laugh as he knew Ashley was coming up behind him and when he turned to see his bride for the first time he couldn’t hold back the smiles. He told her how beautiful she was and quickly hugged and kissed her! After having a quick moment to themselves we headed out the door to capture some pictures of the wedding party outside! (Lets not forget to mention, they still probably haven’t kissed since the wedding day just less than 2 weeks ago seeing as I had them kiss….just a few times…haha!)

Once back at The Reserve, everyone patiently awaited the ceremony. Shortly after all of the guests arrived and took their seats, Jake walked in, the music started from the quartet they had playing and Ashley’s dad escorted her down the aisle. Jake was absolutely smitten with his bride as she walked up that aisle. You could see him take a deep breath and hold back the tears as she walked closer to him. The ceremony was beautiful, surrounded by many of their friends and family. After the ceremony, friends and family gathered at the Lions Tale Brewery on the first floor of the Reserve to mingle, drink and enjoy the music from the second band of the wedding.  The evening proceeded into the reception where dad gave a touching speech, conversations were had throughout the room and dancing into the night while their third band played. (If you cannot tell by now, Jake and Ashley’s wedding was filled with great music, dancing and unfortunately I had to miss it but the performance of Jake himself singing Toto’s – Africa.) So what are you waiting for? Check out their amazing wedding now!
