Each year, many couples open their hearts to allow me into their family, one day, to capture their love and unity as two become one. I cannot say how amazing Debbie and Jesus’s family was for their wedding day! The love they all share for their family and friends radiated that day. Debbie and Jesus had their ceremony at Debbie’s parents home and it was overflowing with beautiful colors, flowers and wedding decor. Their day started with the girls getting ready inside the house while the guys were hanging out at the new house Jesus bought Debbie, right across the road. (She told me it was the house she always wanted growing up as a kid and he surprised her with it! Does it get any cuter than that!?) After the details were done and the dresses were on, Debbie had a first look with her dad who couldn’t stop smiling and telling her how beautiful she looked. Right after that we went across the road to surprise Jesus for a first look too.

Their guests were pouring in to celebrate the day with them, it was sunny, 75 degrees and an absolutely beautiful day to enjoy a wedding.  Jesus and Debbie’s grandma danced down the isle while she threw a few flowers petals, followed by the maid of honor (her mom) and the best man (Jesus’s Son), the bridesmaids and groomsmen and of course the little flower girls. As Debbie walked down the isle with her dad she could not stop smiling at her guests and her soon to be husband. The ceremony was beautiful as the two united their love with a love lock, similar to the idea of those on the bridge in France. They sent the Key off tied to balloons, never to be unlocked again. Sealed with a kiss they then spent the night visiting with guests, dancing, laughing and enjoying unreal amounts of deserts. I told Debbie and Jesus, they totally outdid themselves with the deserts, and just in case you couldn’t make it there are pictures to prove it! So enjoy their beautiful wedding pictures because it was an absolutely amazing day!

Our parents always tell us to enjoy the time we have as kids and more and more I think back on how fast time goes. I spent the last week or so with my sister and her family in Michigan and I had a wonderful time hanging out with them. The time we spent was non-stop going from the time you woke up to the time you went to sleep but it was worth every minute. I cannot believe my oldest niece starts kindergarten this year and my cute littlest niece is turning two in November, if feels like just yesterday she was born. I love the pictures of their family and I hope you all do as well!

I met Alisha and Dylan through capturing pictures for their work and Alisha had just recently got engaged! Of course I remember say good job to her, as if it was a promotion haha (and corrected myself and said congrats.)  After hanging out with these two all evening though I must say, they both did a “good job” because these two are both so kind and truly meant for one another!  They both love the outdoors so what a better place to capture their engagement session then right in the outdoors, climbing trees, hanging out by the water, and wandering through the fields. These two were so much fun to spend the evening with and I cannot wait for you to fall in love with their pictures!

Surrounded by beautiful flowers, amazing weather, great friends and lots of laughter, Cassie and Kyle vowed to live their lives no longer as two but as one. The day took place at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens where friends and family from all over came to celebrate in their day. Their ceremony was beautiful and the two sealed their love with a love lock, never to be broken and locked without a key to unlock it. The reception took place at the beautiful Thornberry Creek where guests enjoyed telling stories of the new couple, visiting on the patio and enjoying the sunset. They even ended the night with lighting of Chinese lanterns into the sun-setting sky.  It was a beautiful day and I could not be happier to have shared this day with these two amazing people!
